The Vessel
| The CAT, piloted by Captain George Pfeiffer, is a 40 foot Sea Harvester with two new 350 horsepower Caterpillar engines. The CAT is not only fast, it is comfortable. The CAT is U.S. Coast Guard certified for up to 30 passengers (including the crew) out to 100 miles into the Gulf of Mexico between Apalachee Bay, Florida and Brownsville, Texas. The number of passengers / anglers / guests is determined by the number of people in your group. |  |

No matter what your pleasure, we can accommodate your every desire from offshore trolling for the awesome Blue Marlin, Wahoo, Tuna, and Dolphin, to bottom fishing for the hard fighting Grouper, Amberjack, and the always-delicious Red Snapper. Action Charters uses only top of the line rods, reels, and tackle to ensure your fishing trip is successful and memorable. The Captain and Mate have all the experience needed to get you on the fish and get the fish in the boat. |
| There is plenty of fishing room on The CAT to be comfortable and to have lines in the water. The wide gunnels allows you to easily move all the way around the boat from the bow to the back deck. |  |
 | If you need a little shade or want to cool off for awhile, you will find the cabin is clean and air conditioned with plenty of comfortable seating. Down the steps in the forward berth are bunks and a sanitized bathroom. |
| Captain George uses The CAT's capability to provide his guests with their choice of cruises. This includes everything from Sightseeing Tours through the miles of inland waterways and along the Alabama and Florida Coasts, to Deep Sea (or Bluewater) Fishing 100 miles out in the Gulf of Mexico. Capt. George and The CAT participate in all local Fishing Tournaments. You can also book The CAT for special occasions. Blue Angels Air Shows, Concerts at The Wharf, fireworks shows, Thunder on the Gulf Powerboat Races, or any other event where you want to be transported in comfort through the waterways around Gulf Shores, Orange Beach, Perdido Key, and Pensacola. |  |
